Charlotte began her career at Kinghorn Insurance of Beaufort in 2013 and is a proud graduate of Wofford College. She has served as the Commercial Lines Department Manager since 2018, earned her Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 2020, and became a Partner in 2021.
In her community, Charlotte has held several leadership roles with the Junior Service League of Beaufort and currently serves on the United Way of the Lowcountry’s Women United Steering Committee. Within the insurance industry, Charlotte is a passionate advocate for women in leadership. She is actively involved in the Women’s Agency Leadership Initiative through Selective Insurance Company, a collaborative program empowering women in the industry, as well as MyNetwork, a nationwide mastermind network connecting and developing female leaders in the insurance space. Additionally, she serves on two Selective Insurance Agency Councils and the Main Street America Agency Council.
Charlotte and her husband, Tyler, are members of First Presbyterian Church of Beaufort and proud parents to their son, Henry, and daughter, Kate. On weekends, Charlotte enjoys spending time “back home” in Cameron, SC, on her family’s cotton and peanut farm, relaxing on the boat, playing outside with her kids, and staying active through exercise.
She is grateful for her encouraging, fun, and hardworking team and cannot imagine working anywhere else!
